Washington 鈥 Today, the 杏吧传媒 and 杏吧传媒鈥檚 Technology & Maintenance Council announced the beginning of the fourth annual National Technician Appreciation Week.

鈥淭he men and women who keep our trucks moving are a critical part of our industry, most deserving of recognition,鈥 said 杏吧传媒 President and CEO Chris Spear. 鈥淭he work that technicians do is crucial to the work our motor carriers do. By keeping our trucks safe and fit, fleets are able to deliver the essential goods that keeps our economy running.鈥
NTAW provides an opportunity to celebrate the hard work and commitment of professional technicians. Professional technicians perform one of the most demanding and critical roles in trucking. This week will not only acknowledge the extraordinary efforts of these dedicated professionals, but also help attract prospective talent to one of the most in-demand careers in the industry.
鈥淲e are very excited to launch the fourth annual National Technician Appreciation Week, highlighting the professional technicians that are so indispensable to the industry,鈥 said TMC Executive Director Robert Braswell. 鈥淭echnicians are part of the backbone of the trucking industry. Without them, making sure vehicles are ready for service and in safe condition, drivers can't make the deliveries we rely on. This is the perfect time for our industry and the general public to show their appreciation and say, 鈥楾hank you鈥 to these important individuals and the valuable work they do.鈥
