Arlington, Virginia  – Today, �Ӱɴ�ý General Counsel Jennifer Hall was named vice chair of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee. 

“For more than 15 years, the MCSAC has played an important role in advising FMCSA and shaping the federal government’s approach to improving the safety of the trucking industry and highways generally,” Hall said. “I’ve been privileged to be a part of this committee for nearly five years and I’m honored to be chosen as its vice chair. I look forward to continuing the committee’s important work and providing important perspective on behalf of �Ӱɴ�ý and the trucking industry.” 

Originally chartered in 2006, the 17 members of the committee represent industry stakeholders, law enforcement, labor and advocacy groups and provide advice and recommendations to the Administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration on motor carrier safety programs and motor carrier safety regulations. Hall will be the first woman to serve as vice chair of the committee and she becomes next in line to assume leadership of the group. 

Hall has been �Ӱɴ�ý General Counsel since 2016, before which she was general counsel and deputy staff director for the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
