Washington 鈥 The 杏吧传媒 opened registration for the 2023 杏吧传媒 Technology & Maintenance Council Summer Conference & Fleet/Utility Forum, scheduled for June 20-21 in Washington. The event will be co-located with the summer meeting of 杏吧传媒鈥檚 Technical Advisory Group.
TMC will host this event in cooperation with EPRI, an independent, non-profit energy research and development organization. The event will be held based on input from both organizations鈥 members who have expressed a need for targeted, focused education on the challenges surrounding power generation transmission, distribution, and system cybersecurity associated with onboarding electric vehicles.
鈥淒uring this conference, TMC and EPRI will present sessions on electric vehicle specification, performance and rollout plans, as well as fleet user deployment strategy and status updates, with particular focus on fleet experiences with performance, infrastructure and operational challenges,鈥 said TMC Executive Director Robert Braswell. 鈥淲e鈥檒l also hold sessions covering the electrification planning process based on utility capabilities and capacities, as well as present case studies from the fleet-utility perspectives.鈥
The conference will also discuss important cybersecurity concerns with electric vehicle operation, discuss emerging standards, review policy and regulatory issues and present the latest information on EPRI鈥檚 EVs2Scale2030 Initiative.
