Arlington, Virginia – �Ӱɴ�ý’ Technology & Maintenance Council announced it was opening registration for its 2018 Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition, to be held March 5-8 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

Driving Excellence Through Expertise is the theme for this year’s Annual Meeting, which includes a strong slate of educational sessions, and a complete technology tradeshow featuring experts from the trucking industry’s top manufacturers and suppliers.

“The trucking industry is literally the backbone of the U.S. economy – delivering 70% of the nation’s freight,” said �Ӱɴ�ý President and CEO Chris Spear. “That work is only possible thanks to the efforts of our industry’s technicians and maintenance personnel who keep our nation’s wheels turning. The TMC Annual Meeting is a critical part of that effort, setting standards and demonstrating the latest technology and trends for our industry.”

During the week, more than 100 industry task forces will meet to resolve issues critical to trucking fleets, as well as a broad offering of technically oriented educational sessions, addressing emerging powertrain technologies and vehicle electrification, next generation training technologies and practical means of applying telematics data and sound management principles to maintenance and equipment specification.

With more than 5,000 people in attendance every year, TMC’s Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition remains the premier event for fleet management, offering a comprehensive array of information vital to the growth and success of the trucking industry.

Highlights of this year’s meeting include:
